The March Red Reserve Club features two powerful red wines from the Southern Hemisphere—each shaped by remarkable vineyard sites and guided by influential women in modern wine.
From Argentina’s high-altitude Uco Valley, Catena Paraje Altamira Malbec showcases the precision and structure that have helped redefine Argentina’s global reputation for Malbec. Sourced from limestone-rich vineyards over 3,500 feet above sea level, the wine delivers deep blackberry and plum flavors layered with violet, graphite, and mineral intensity. This bottling reflects the vision of Dr. Laura Catena, whose leadership and research have been instrumental in elevating Mendoza’s high-altitude terroirs.
Alongside it is Yalumba “The Menzies” Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia’s famed Coonawarra region, one of the world’s most respected homes for Cabernet Sauvignon. Grown on the region’s iconic terra rossa soils, the wine offers classic cassis, dark plum, cedar, and spice with a structured, age-worthy finish. Yalumba’s winemaking is guided by Louisa Rose, one of Australia’s most celebrated winemakers and a leader in sustainable viticulture.
Together, these wines highlight the depth and elegance possible in the Southern Hemisphere while celebrating the growing influence of women shaping the global wine industry.
Club members can sample all four bottle club selections and pick up their wines at the pick up event on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 or at Curio for the remainder of March.
