This February at Curio there are two special wine features to explore, including a showcase of Black-owned wineries as well as a deep dive into French red wines.
The featured club wine for February 2025 is the complex and elegant Saint Cosme Crozes Hermitage Syrah from the Rhone region of France.
At Curio Wine School, embark on an immersive journey through the world of French red wines! This class explores six iconic regions, tasting wines that showcase the depth and diversity of French terroir.
Grab your besties – or treat yourself! – to a Bouquet of Bubbly featuring a trio of new floral-inspired sparkling wine cocktails and DIY wine charms.
Explore classic wine styles and uniquely contemporary wines, kept fresh in self-serve wine machines. Use your wine card to sample wine in taste, half-glass, or full-glass pours, and then enjoy wine in Curio or take bottles home to enjoy at your leisure.
There are no reservations at Curio – seating is done on a first come, first served basis. Small to mid-size groups can usually find space earlier in the day or on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Sundays.
See the current menu here. Curio has charcuterie, flatbreads, and small bites when the kitchen is open. The kitchen hours are listed at the bottom of the webpage.
There are no animals permitted inside Curio per the Virginia Department of Health restrictions on food establishments, with the exception of service animals. The only way to access our courtyard is through the building, and the VDH requires a separate entrance for animals. However, you can sit in the sidewalk tables in front of Curio with your dogs!
Dogs (and horses) are welcome at our farm winery!
All persons must be 21 years of age or older to enter Curio due to the self-serve wine machines. No one under 21 will be permitted, regardless of age (this includes infants). Knowing that everyone is 21 in Curio ensures that we remain compliant with ABC regulations.
Our ABC licensing is for wine and wine-related products only since we are a farm winery. That means we cannot carry beer or spirit drinks.
Yes, Curio’s Wine Cellar is the perfect place for your next party or special event. See all of the details here.
The Curio Wine Club is a monthly subscription club for wine lovers who want to explore the world of wine at Curio Wine Bar (and love the self-serve WineStation machines!)
The club is $50 at the time of signup and then monthly on the 1st of the month. Those funds are deposited into a member account to use on WineStations, bottles of wine, and food items at Curio. Funds roll over from month to month and do not expire.
Club members receive 15% off most things at Curio, including the WineStation machines, wine by the bottle, and food. That means for $50, you can receive $58.80 on your WineStation card, or for $85, you will receive $100 on your WineStation card.
Members will also receive a deep 50% off discount on one carefully selected bottle of wine a month, in addition to some flash club-only specials (all optional).
By joining the wine club, members get the opportunity to taste and learn about new wines while supporting a small, local business. It’s an excellent way to connect with a community of fellow wine lovers.
We always strive to bring in different and interesting wines from around the world. Check out our latest offerings.
