July at Curio brings a full month of red, white, and rosé, plus a healthy dose of celebration. Between the holiday, a beloved book club, two Wine School classes, and the launch of weekly trivia, there’s a reason to stop by nearly every week.
The month kicks off with Founders Club Night on Wednesday, July 1st, from 7-8 PM. First Friday follows on July 3rd with happy hour from 3-6 PM in the heart of Downtown Fredericksburg, the perfect warm-up for the holiday weekend. Then on Saturday, July 4th, Curio celebrates Independence Day with special hours, open from 12-6 PM for anyone looking to toast the occasion before the fireworks begin.
CURIOsity Trivia returns nearly every Tuesday this month, starting at 6:30 PM. On July 14th, Bottle Club Night takes place from 7-8 PM, making this a great night for members to pick up their latest selections while testing their knowledge.
Wine School continues its summer lineup with two standout sessions. On Wednesday, July 15th, Wines of Independence takes the spotlight from 7-8 PM, a fitting toast to American winemaking around the holiday. The following week, on Wednesday, July 22nd, the focus shifts to France with a French Wine & Cheese pairing, also from 7-8 PM.
From Sunday, July 26th through Saturday, August 1st, things get a little toothy with Shark Week, featuring shark-themed drinks and specials all week long. The month wraps up on Thursday, July 30th, with Read Between the Wines from 7-8:30 PM, Curio’s monthly book club pairing great reads with great pours.
